The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) and non-profit youth center A Place Called Home (APCH) today distributed gifts to children as part of a holiday
LOS ANGELES — The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) and the non-profit youth center A Place Called Home (APCH) joined forces to spread holiday cheer by distributing gifts to children in the Los Angeles area. This festive effort aimed to provide toys, clothing, and books to thousands of children, bringing joy and celebration to a community often focused on survival.
Officials from the Herbalife Family Foundation and players from the LA Galaxy, who also contributed branded products for the gift bags, attended the gift bag distribution event. The occasion allowed local children not only to receive presents but also to share their wishes with Santa, enjoy activities with the LA Galaxy mascot Cozmo, and experience the delight of climbing and sledding on 30 tons of snow.
“Herbalife is all about building and inspiring healthy communities around the world, and giving back is one of our core principles,” said Michael O. Johnson, Herbalife Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer. This holiday initiative reflects Herbalife’s commitment to supporting communities and creating positive impacts.
“In a neighborhood where most families are focused on survival, it’s a blessing to be able to celebrate the holidays with a sense of play and abundance – especially for the children,” expressed Jonathan Zeichner, Executive Director of A Place Called Home. He conveyed gratitude to all sponsors and donors who made the event possible and emphasized the importance of creating a festive atmosphere for the community’s children during the holiday season.
The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to improving lives by assisting organizations in providing healthy nutrition to vulnerable children. HFF supports over 100 Casa Herbalife programs globally, catering to the daily nutritional needs of more than 120,000 children worldwide through annual grants to NGOs and charities caring for vulnerable children.
