Chiefs fans donate over $70K to Jason Kelce’s charity

The trend of NFL fanbases raising money for opposing players’ charities is continuing following Super Bowl LVII. Kansas City Chiefs fans are celebrating the team’s latest Super Bowl title by making donations to the Be Philly Foundation, a nonprofit organization started by Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce that aims to improve the lives of the city’s youth.Donations to the foundation were listed at just under $10,000 as of Monday. By Wednesday afternoon, that amount had reached over $84,000. Chiefs fans, let’s celebrate this win and thank our strongest connection to the Eagles via the Kelce bros. Jason launched his charity in Oct. 2022 with a goal of $100,000. Currently, it’s $9,961.20. Let’s do this #ChiefsKingdomDonate here:— Chiefs Kingdom Memes – CKM (@ChiefsMMZ) February 14, 2023 Kelce, the older brother of Chiefs tight end Travis, has spent his entire 12-year career with the Eagles. He and Travis became the first brothers in NFL history to play against each other in a Super Bowl on Sunday.”You know, you joke around all the time and say that you want to beat your brother in the biggest stage ever, but it’s a weird feeling,” Travis said after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.He added: “There’s nothing really I could say to him other than I love him and he played a hell of a year, a hell of a season.”
