The 10th installment of the Dinner with Friends fundraiser started by Carlos Sanguinetti and Matt Teeter is returning Saturday night to the Del Sur Ranch House.

The Del Sur residents, friends since childhood, created the annual community event to help families staying at the Ronald McDonald House near Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. Over the past decade it has raised more than $650,000.

This year’s food partner, Seaside Market, is providing the barbecue meal for an anticipated crowd of around 250. Attendees are encouraged to come in beach barbecue attire, Teeter said.

Tickets are still available for the casual event with a beach theme, set for 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. They start at $100 for the “good friend” ticket, with increasing options up to the $300 VIP ticket. The latter includes perks such as reserved parking, exclusive seating, bar service and digital photos. They can be purchased online at thedinnerwithfriends.org.

Sanguinetti and Teeter and their families have been friends since they were elementary students at St. Michael’s School in Poway.
