COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, along with his parents Robin and Jimmy, have launched a non-profit foundation to address food insecurity and childhood mental health.
The Joe Burrow Foundation will help provide resources and support to the underprivileged and underserved in Ohio and Louisiana.
I believe that everyone has a responsibility to do good
After Burrow’s 2019 Heisman Trophy speech, donations poured into the Athens County Food Pantry. Millions were donated to the food pantry and the speech led to the creation of the Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund and the Foundation of Appalachian Ohio.
The Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund has raised millions of dollars for those in need.
Burrow said the new Joe Burrow Foundation will build on that success.
