Two families will be starting off Hope House Children’s Hospices Dark Runs this October in Telford and Chirk as hundreds sign up to light up the night.
Over two Saturdays hundreds of people and families of all ages will get together to ‘glow’ crazy and raise money for Hope House Children’s Hospices.
You can complete the courses while running, jogging or walking with your friends and family, on the Chirk Castle grounds and through Telford Town Park and will get their hands on a goody bag and special glow in the dark medal.
Martine Crouch from Chirk lost her daughter Mia, who died at the age of four in 2018. After falling ill, Mia spent time at Hope House, and her mum was full of praise for the service the hospice provided. Martine said: “Mia absolutely loved Hope House, they felt like family.
“The nurses knew Mia was poorly, and how to care for her, but they still made things fun.
