The comedian, 37, announced he has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on his YouTube channel earlier on Monday, but has been keeping a humorous and optimistic viewpoint on the situation.

In an exclusive statement to DailyMail.com, Alex opened up about how he’s coping with his shocking diagnosis, and how it came just four months after his wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Tassi.

 ‘4 months after my wedding, I received a diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma.’ The comedian tied the knot earlier this year in April,’ he began.
