Wellbeing garden to support Midland Air Ambulance crews after difficult missions

A wellbeing garden is to be created at the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s new airbase headquarters in order to support crews who may have been called out to harrowing missions.

M6toll will be partnering with the charity on the development of the employee garden at the new facility being constructed in Cosford, on the Shropshire and Staffordshire border.

The charity’s new facility, which has been four years in the planning, will enhance its pre-hospital helicopter-led emergency medical service.

It will feature a purpose-built environment for crew and charity staff, including main offices, warehousing and storage, an advanced clinical simulation training room and space for two aircraft and critical care cars, to allow the charity to expand its service in the future.
