Mum ‘in tears’ over McDonald’s worker’s kindness towards autistic daughter

The kind-hearted worker told the Candice Hudspith ‘you’re doing an amazing job’ and stepped in to help out when the young girl became ‘triggered’.

A mum has shared a heartwarming thank you message to a McDonald’s employee whose kindness towards her autistic tot ‘meant the world’.

Candice Hudspith, 33, visited the McDonald’s restaurant last weekend with her two young daughters Harper, four, and Indy, two.

Chronicle Live reports that as they entered the fast food joint at Felling Bypass Harper, who was diagnosed with autism just before her fourth birthday, began to scream and shout after becoming ‘triggered’.

Often, Candice, from Gateshead, said, she would leave a situation if Harper started to struggle – but as a result of the kindness of one of the restaurant’s staff members, the mum was able to stay and enjoy a relaxing coffee, while Harper was able to calm down and enjoy a meal.
