This 19-year-old boy named Rhys Langford from Ebbw Vale, Wales in the United Kingdom was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. This is a type of cancer that begins in the cells that form bones. He was diagnosed in October 2020.
The boy is severely ill and was told by the doctors that he has only a few months to live. He was first diagnosed when he was just 18 and went through a very difficult and exhausting 16 months of chemotherapy – but in a devastating turn, cancer returned leaving him a few months to live.
