Patrick Kinman is a huge Cincinnati sports fan, thanks to his father’s side of the family. They are from Cincinnati.
Before the Bengals-Raiders play-off game, Kinman met his favorite Cincinnati Red, second baseman Jonathan India.
“I’m like, ‘What the heck is happening?'” Kinman said. “He was like, ‘I’ll follow you on Instagram. I’ll DM you tickets, any game of your choosing.’ Next thing I knew, I was just very emotional.”
Video of the two meeting has gone viral. Kinman is autistic and he said people don’t always see past that.
India did as he listened to Kinman talk about the Reds.
Kinman said isn’t always accepted, and he has congenital heart disease. He said both caused him to quit playing baseball in high school, the sport he loved.
“I’ve used my energy for baseball and put that into the Reds,” Kinman said…
