Jane Wilcox believes exciting things are happening with The Fabulous Fifties Show and she’s not the only one. The group has formed a foundation.

“For many years, the money raised by The Fabulous Fifties Show was donated to the American Red Cross and later to the Multi-County Cancer Support Network where the funds we raised were split among eight counties,” said Wilcox, the show’s producer. “We talked for a while about forming our own foundation so that we can keep all of the money raised here in Lincoln County. Because of COVID, we had to cancel our show in 2021 and we used this past year to plan the Fabulous Fifties Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit.”

Wilcox said all the money raised by The Fabulous Fifties Show will be dispersed at the Foundation’s discretion to people in need in Lincoln County.

“Needs may include victims of house fires, accidents and illnesses including but not exclusive to cancer,” Wilcox said. “There is a committee that will decide if funds should be given to each person. One must apply and fill out a questionnaire that will be presented to the committee.”
