CLEVELAND, Ohio — If all had gone according to plan, Joe Walsh would have brought his fifth annual VetsAid concert to Columbus this month, another all-star extravaganza to raise money for grassroots military veteran associations.

In these continuing pandemic days, however, things don’t go according to plan, so “VetsAid 2021: The Basement Show” will go virtual for the second time, debuting on Saturday, Dec. 18, and running through Christmas Day. In lieu of the live performances Walsh and company will offer previously unreleased footage from the three in-person VetsAids shows, a special Q&A with Walsh, a tour of his home studio facility — including some of his massive guitar collection — and a sneak peek at the recording of his next album with an all-star crew of friends.
