We all have prejudices, usually based on our experiences or beliefs. And these prejudices get amplified by the company we keep, as many people like to associate with like-minded people. Unfortunately, this can create a false sense of reality, allowing us to live in an “echo chamber of truth.”
It is incumbent upon each of us to look past our prejudices and comfort zones to see people as they are, not how we believe or expect them to be. To walk in their shoes for a while and experience life from their perspective, as each of us is living a completely unique life that no other person has lived or ever will live.
In the end, simply loving and accepting all people for who they are and where they are in life is the greatest cure for healing the hateful ills of this world.
