Today will be the start of a big fundraiser for Model Elementary students, as they work to help one of their own and others battling cancer.

Michael Adams, now 20, is a Model High graduate and both his father Mike Adams and his mother Karen Adams teach at the elementary school.

This family is getting some help from their Model family now.
