Catholic Charities is helping people rebuild their lives after they’ve been incarcerated.
“It changes your life — truly,” said Nancy Rose, who was behind bars in 2013.Rose said she lost more than just her freedom.
“My son was placed in state custody because of my actions of messing with narcotics,” Rose said.When she was released four months later, Rose connected with Catholic Charities to help her reclaim her life and her family.
“My caseworker, he helped me successfully, like , ‘These are your goals. These are your options, and this is how you can be successful,'” Rose said.
