Former NFL star addresses suicide, mental illness stigma

Herschel Walker was running just a bit late.

The former Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings running back, the same one who set NCAA rushing records at the University of Georgia on his way to a Heisman Trophy and then tallied more than 13,000 all-purpose yards in his All-Pro professional football career, apologized when he walked through the doors of Bloomington Meadows Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
