Baylee Myers was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Myers, 3, is being treated for neuroblastoma at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, about 150 miles away from her home in Abilene, according to WFAA.
With months of upcoming treatments, her parents thought they would need to sell their home so they could be near Baylee.
With some help from their church community at Beltway Baptist Church they will be able to live in Fort Worth and not sell their home, according to WFAA.
A member donated a house. Other members pitched in renovating it. Then it was offered to the Myers’ to live in rent and bill free, according to WFAA.
It’s called Baylee’s House and the church hopes to continue using it as a resource for families to stay close when they need hospital care.
